Bruce Fred Peterson, 89, of Tavares, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. Born in Big Lake, Minnesota, he moved to Tavares in 1990 from Mount Prospect, Illinois. He was of Lutheran Faith. Bruce served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his Sons, Dean J. Peterson of Zimmerman, MN, David Peterson of Prescott Valley, AZ, and John Peterson of Wheeling, IL; Daughter, Susan Merna of Aurora, CO; Brother, Dale F.
