Bruce N. Johansen

Bruce N. Johansen, 69, of Eustis, FL died on Monday, September 28, 2009. Born in Oak Park, IL, he moved to Eustis in 1980 from Illiopolis, Illinois. He was the Vice President of Lake Mechanical Contractors of Eustis. He was a former member of First United Methodist Church of Eustis, member of the Kiwanis Club of Eustis and F.P.H.C.C. (Florida Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors) Scholarship Committee and Pine Meadows Country Club. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Bonnie L. Johansen of Racine, WI; 3 nephews, Jim (Traci) Johansen of Racine, WI; Jeff Johansen and Jon (Jennifer) Johansen both of Chicago, IL; niece, Kristen (Shad) Smith of Racine, WI; great-nieces and nephews whom he considered to be his grandchildren and affectionately called him GUB, Hannah, Jack, Sawyer, Soren, Slayton, Jake and Grace; cousins and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Grace, brother Don and his son David. Services will be held at Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 1:00 PM.
