Bruce W. Creighton Sr.

Bruce Warren Creighton, Sr., 66, of Umatilla, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010. Born in Washington, DC, he moved to Umatilla in 1996 from Lusby, Maryland. He retired as a Design Engineer at a Nuclear Power Plant. While living in Maryland, Bruce was a member of the American Legion, Boy Scouts of America, and was in charge of the Local PTA. Upon moving to Florida, he loved being on the lake riding his seadoo and working with Lake Watch. Bruce collected and loved Lionel Trains. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam. Bruce is survived by his wife, Carolyn Creighton, Umatilla, FL; son, Bruce W. Creighton, Jr., Umatilla, FL; daughter, Maria Stoneberg, Umatilla, FL; several nephews & nieces. A military graveside service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 1:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Friday morning prior to the service from 10:00 AM till 12:00 Noon.
