Brian Richard Woodie, 35, of Umatilla, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011. Born in Boynton Beach, Florida, he moved to Umatilla in 2003 after growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He owned his own carpentry business, B & K Finish Carpentry. Brian served his country proudly in the US Navy where he was a Seabee. He was the current president of the Florida Chapter of the Armed Forces of America Motorcycle Club. Brian is survived by wife, Karen Bell Woodie, Umatilla, FL; 2 sons, David Woodie, Umatilla, FL, Preston Van Arsdale, Umatilla, FL; father, James Woodie of Wyoming; mother, Jill Raffel, Ocala, FL; in-laws, Wilmer & Elizabeth Bell, Grand Island, FL; sister, Suzanne, sister, Erin Winters; brother in law, Chris Winters of Wyoming; nieces, Ashlyn Winters and Kristin; nephews, Jaeden Winters and Aaron; and all of his brothers from the Armed Forces of America Motorcycle Club. All are welcome to join the family with a memorial service Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Church of the Nazarene located at 651 Barnes Blvd, Rockledge, FL 32955. Immediately following the service there will be a celebration of Brian's life held at the Armed Forces of America Motorcycle Clubhouse, 1633 Sue Drive, Cocoa, FL.
