Brent Edwin Hales, 51, of Sumterville, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016. Born in Eustis, Florida, he was a lifelong resident of Central Florida. Brent was a Sumter County Deputy Sheriff. He served his country during Desert Storm in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Hales, Sumterville, FL; sons, Wayne (Lisa) Hales, Leesburg, FL, Adam (Madeline) Rowan, Leesburg, FL, Kyle Likes, Raleigh, NC; 2 daughters, Crystal Blanchard, Sumterville, FL, Adrianne Rowan, Jackson, KY; parents, Talmadge & Joyce Hales, Monterey, TN; great grandparents, Huston & Myrtis Hales, Tavares, FL; sister, Tina Hales, Monterey, TN; 5 grandchildren, Johnathan, Joshua, Jason, Owen & Austin. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM with a service being at 6:30 PM. A Service with Law Enforcement Honors will be held at the Eisenhower Regional Recreational Center in the Villages on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 10am - 2pm.
