Billy L. House, 66, of Eustis, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010. Born in Asheville, North Carolina, he moved to Orlando in 1968 from California moving to Eustis in 1981. Billy served in the US Navy during Vietnam as a Chief Petty Officer and was a member of the NRA, AMVETS, VFW, AARP and Zion Hill Baptist Church of Charlotte, NC. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maude A. House, Eustis, FL; 3 sons, Richard House Colson, Eustis, FL, James (Patts) House Colson, Deland, FL, Robert (Christina) House, Eustis, FL; 4 sisters, Carolyn (Rev. Leo) Kuykundell, Gastonia, NC, Sandra Whittaker, Edneyville, NC, Linda (John) Bullock-Gilliard, Fleming, GA, Vicky (Troy) Collura, Bryson City, NC; step-daughter, Mary Ellen Kennedy, Deland, FL; 5 grandchildren, Donn Leatherman, Austin House, Jake Kennedy, Steven House, Ashley House; great-grandchild, Christian Anthony Leatherman and many nieces & nephews. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 7:00 PM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-7 PM.
