Billy Joe "BJ" Harrison

Billy Joe "BJ" Harrison, 76, of Mount Dora, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019. Born in Ellisville, Mississippi, he moved to Mount Dora in 1987 from Port Orange, Florida. He had lived in the Central Florida area since the 1960's. BJ worked for DC Waters Ford and was the youngest General Manager in the Ford Motor Company at that time. Later, he owned and operated H & H Auto Sales of Mount Dora from 1987 - 2002. BJ is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nancy Jo Harrison, Mount Dora, FL; 2 sons, Paul Boyd, Astatula, FL, William Grant Harrison, Riverview, FL; 4 daughters, Dena Boyd Peters, Astatula, FL, Lisa Harrison Oaks, Eustis, FL, Connie Lynn Harrison, Astatula, FL, Jennifer Harrison Blair, Mount Dora, FL; brother, Charles Harrison, Collins, MS; sister, Hazel Chumney, Auburndale, FL; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. BJ was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Joyce Ann Harrison. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Astatula Cemetery, Astatula. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
