Bill Kentala, 72, of Sorrento, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011. Born in Detroit, MI moved to Lake County from Miami Springs, FL. Graduate of Univ of Miami, retired Deputy Chief with the City of Coral Gables Fire Dept for 26 yrs. He was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church. Active with the Knights of Columbus as current trustee of council 8120, PGK and past DD, PFN of assembly 1675. He is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Scott (Anu) Kentala, NYC, NY; daughter, Dawn (Wade) Gossett, grandsons Drake & Luke, Sorrento. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 9:30 AM. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM.
