Betty J. Truesdell Harbin, 72, of Deland, FL went home to be with her heavenly family. Betty was born in Kissimmee, FL and had lived most of her life in Central FL. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Eustis, FL. Betty was the owner and president of confidential Income Tax Service in Orlando. After moving to Lake County, Betty served as the vice president and as a Teacher for the 4H and craft classes at the Pine Lakes Community Center. Betty also had the honor of naming the county park in North East Lake County, “The Pine Forest Recreational Park”. Betty is predeceased by her husband of 43years, Tommy L. Harbin Sr.; parents, Harvey and Mary Truesdell; brothers, John and James and Frances Truesdell, and sister, Eleanor M. Noyes; She is survived by her sons, Clyde L. Green, Jr., Darrell T. Harbin, Tommy Harbin Jr., and Charles Harbin; daughters, Virginia Connelly and Erica Parsons; Brothers, Harry, Charles and Frank Truesdell; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church, SR44 Eustis, on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:30 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 prior to service. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, Eustis.
