Betty Guscott Williams Baird, 92, passed away peacefully Monday, September 19, 2011 in Georgetown, Kentucky. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 29, 1918, to the late George Henry and Esther Strong Guscott. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Ohio. She worked as secretary to the Ashtabula County Extension Agent, Agriculture. She was married June 18, 1939 to the late Herbert J. Williams for 47 years; and September 2, 1989 to the late Loren F. Baird, for 20 years. She was a long time member of the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene in Ohio. Upon moving to Florida, she and Herbert were involved in the establishment of the Tavares Nazarene Church, where they were active for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Constance Williams (James) Trotter; and grandchildren, Gregory Williams (Elizabeth) Trotter and Hilary Dawn (Jason) Clemons. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George H. Guscott, Charles E. Guscott and Arthur E. Guscott; and grandson, Douglas S. Trotter. A graveside service will be held at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM. In honor of Betty's life and legacy, donations can be made in her memory to Mt.
