Aubrey Morris

Aubrey Morris, 88, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. Born in Worth County, Georgia, he moved to Florida in 1958. Aubrey was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was an educator, earning his PhD, and also served as a coach and principal. Upon retirement from education, he sold insurance for Met Life. Aubrey was a member of Life Community Church in Eustis, FL. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Aubrey is predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Mary Frances Goff Morris; brother, Fred Morris; sisters Marie Morris and Baby Girl Morris. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Waugh (Ronnie) of Senoia, GA, and Nancy Schneck (John) of Mount Dora, FL; grandchildren, Sarah Waugh, Rebecca Waugh, Jordon Register (Savannah) and Jessica Schlegel (Robby); great-grandchildren, Kenadi, Olive, Colton and Cavitt Aubrey, Military Honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 10:00 AM. The family will have a Celebration of Life for Aubrey and Mary at a later date at Life Community Church.
