Arden D. Hamlin

Arden D. Hamlin, 51, of Mount Dora, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021. Born in Charlevoix, Michigan, he moved to Mount Dora in 1980 from Boyne City, Michigan. He worked as a delivery driver for 84 Lumber. Arden loved spending time with his wife and children and just relaxing at home. He was a hard worker and you could always find him on a new project from cars, to remodeling his house or someone else's to wood working and making new Halloween decorations which happened to be his favorite holiday. He was a huge Metallica music fan. He enjoyed playing softball and was a good pitcher. Arden was a good friend to all who knew him and was there for you when you called and ready to work until the job was done. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jennifer R. Hamlin, Mount Dora, FL; 3 sons, Conner Hamlin, Mount Dora, FL, Colin Hamlin, Mount Dora, FL, Colton Hamlin, Mount Dora, FL; parents, Herbert and Joyce Hamlin, Leesburg, FL; 3 brothers, Tim Hamlin, Mesa, AZ, Tom Hamlin, Sanford, FL; twin-brother, Aaron Hamlin, Mascotte, FL; sister, Brenda Mulholland, Tavares, FL. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM with a memorial service being held at 7:00 PM.
