April Leigh Johnson

April Leigh Johnson, 40, of Eustis, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016. Born in Leesburg, Florida, she was a lifelong resident of Eustis. April was very involved as a child with Girl Scouts, earning the Girl Scout Gold Award. She graduated from Eustis High School Class of 1994 and from the University of Central Florida in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching. April was the Editor of the Knollwood Trail News. She was actively involved with the Awana Program at her church, Trinity Evangelical Free Church of Eustis. She never met a stranger. April is survived by her parents John & Betty Johnson, Eustis, FL; 2 sisters, Joannah (Jeremy) Booth, Palm Bay, FL, Elizabeth (Garey) Lee, Callahan, FL; niece, Paige Booth, Palm Bay, FL. Services will be held at Trinity Evangelical Free Church, Eustis on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM.
