Anita Josephine Combes

Anita Josephine Combes, 94, of Mount Dora, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023. Born to the late Martin & Marie (Gorman) McCormack in Rockville Centre, New York, she moved to Mount Dora in 2016. She was a Lab Technician before she retired and was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis. Anita is survived by her 2 daughters, Ellen (Thomas) Trasente-Cook of Mount Dora, FL and Ann Combes Baller of West Gilgo Beach, NY as well as 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Ralph "Pat" Combes; son, Patrick Combes; brother, Martin McCormack; sister, Mary Ellen Danks; brother, John McCormack and grandson, Robbie Combes. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Anita will be laid to rest at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, New York.
