Andrew "Andy" Joseph Bennett, 71, of Leesburg, FL passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. Born in Grayling, Michigan, he has been a seasonal resident of Florida since 2003 and a permanent resident since 2014 from Flint, MI. Andy is a US Navy Veteran of Vietnam. Andy retired from the Canadian National Railway Company as Conductor. Andy enjoyed tinkering, fixing and repairing things around the house, landscaping and yard work. He is survived by his Wife, Roberta Bennett of Leesburg, FL; Sons, Scott (Kendra) Bennett, Eric (Jackie) Bennett, Jason (Shawna) Bell, Aaron (Michelle) Bell, and Tony (Shawn) Conroy all of Michigan; Daughter, Aimee (Brian) Tompkins of California; Brother, Patrick Daniel Plummer of Michigan; Godson-Ron (Renee) Madison; Grandchildren, Danie, Denin, Caiden, Kallie, Taylor, Ellie, Asher, Kaylin, Hayden and Ryan; Grand God Children, Rachelle, Ryan, Remi, Reece and Raina; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, A.J. Bennett and sister, Annette Bennett Laughton. Services will be held at a later date.
