Alpha Lee Dolan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alpha Lee Dolan, aged 79, on October 18, 2024, in Tavares, Florida. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she made her home in Tavares after relocating in 1971. Alpha was a devoted homemaker and a cherished member of her community. She notably served as a former president of the Tavares Junior Women’s Club, contributing her time and energy to promote community engagement and support. She leaves behind a loving family, including her two sons, Jim A. Dolan and Thomas C. (Kim) Dolan, both of Tavares, Florida. She is also survived by her brother, Bob (Debbie) Diel of Saint Petersburg, Florida, her granddaughter, Sara Priester of Eustis, Florida, (who was by her side and holding her hand as Alpha passed), her grandson, Andrew Dolan, and four great-grandchildren: Rowan, River, Kash, and Noah. A graveside service in honor of Alpha will be held at Tavares Cemetery on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
