Alan Dudley Rodgers, 57, of Eustis, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011. Born in Miami, Florida, he moved to Eustis in 2000 from Miami. He graduated from Edison High School in Miami class of 1972. He collected insulators, trains, lightbulbs and battery jars. He loved horses was a member of the Central Florida Insulator Club and numerous train clubs. Alan attended Faith Lutheran Church, Eustis. Alan is survived by his wife, Jill D. Rodgers, Eustis, FL; 2 sons, Daniel Rodgers, Eustis, FL, Brian Rodgers, Eustis, FL; brother, Glenn Rodgers of Alabama; sister, Donna Carrion, Columbus, GA; 2 grandchildren, Daniel, Jr. & Nathalie; aunt, Nan DeFoor and many cousins and nieces. Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, Eustis on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Colquitt City Cemetery, Colquitt, GA on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends at the Church prior to the service from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1101 N.
