Adrian Dale McMillian

Adrian Dale McMillian, 82, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at his home in Eustis, Florida surrounded by loved ones. He served in the USAF during the Korean Conflict. He was a Regional Manager for Commonwealth Life Insurance Co.; a member of Grace Baptist Church, Independence, KY; Past Master of the Wilmington Masonic Lodge in Fiskburg, KY, as well as a member of the Bahia Shrine Temple in Orlando, FL; Past President of Northern KY Life Underwriters Association; he graduated from Simon Kenton HS; attended University of KY and graduated from Byrn Mawr, PA with a CLU degree; taught Insurance school at Chase law; he was appointed by the KY House of Representatives to the State Legislative Committee for AARP; was Past Chairman of the Insurance Committee; Special Advisory Commission for Senior Citizens; served on the Board of Adjustments for the City of Independence. However most importantly he was a UK fan!!! He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Faye McMillian; son, Marty McMillian, Independence, KY; 3 daughters, Dena McMillian, Lakeside Park, KY, Myra (Will) Kays, Cincinnati, OH, Kelli Kohake, Cincinnati, OH; brother, Donald R. McMillian, Walton, KY; 5 grandchildren, Mandy McMillian, Ashlee Campbell, Brittany Fredrick, Casey Kohake, Carly Kohake; 3 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Mackenzie and Jaden. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in early May. Memorial donations may be made to Lung Cancer Research.
