Carolyn Ruth "Carol" Turzanski

Carolyn "Carol" Ruth Turzanski, 92, of Grand Island, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023. Born in Flint, Michigan, she moved to Grand Island in 2014 from Pensacola, Florida. She began her career and was proud to be a Licensed Practical Nurse. Carol was Catholic and most recently, she was attending St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis. She was a member of the Pinochle Club in Pensacola and "The Rowdy Bunch" but mainly enjoyed her free time by traveling. Carol is survived by her 3 daughter, Susi Turzanski-Wilbanks, Stuart, FL, Cher (Michael) Myers, Grand Island, FL, Teresa Howell, Kingston Springs, TN; sister, Marian Donaldson, Grand Rapids, MI; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11:30 AM. Private interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
